-3 Sim Cards - TV Mobile Phones From China - (5/20/2012)

The latest trend in Chinese Mobile phone design is the addition of TV reception capability. Blackberry and iPhone type models now incorporate the ability to receive and record television channels on your mobile phone. In addition to all of their normal features, these phones now allow users to watch their favorite television channels on a high definition screen at any time of day. Retailers have caught on to this latest development and are buying TV mobile phones in bulk from Chinese wholesale manufacturers. Read on to see what these phones have to offer.

The latest TV cell phone models from Chinese manufacturers are Quad-band (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 /1900 MHz). They include a high definition camera, organizer, alarm, world clock, calculator, GPRS / WAP connectivity, Bluetooth, MP3/MP4 player, assorted games, and so on. They also support multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, and Vietnamese. most models also include dual SIM standby capability, allowing the use of two phone lines on a single cell phone. TV Mobile phones come completely unlocked, allowing users to make phone calls and tune in to television programs across the globe. rather than being locked in to one service provider, you are free to operate SIM cards from any mobile carrier in any country.

For anyone considering purchasing one of these phones, you should first check the television service available for cell phones in your host country. some countries, such as America, charge an additional monthly service charge to access television channels. this isn’t normal TV programming, but a variety of video clips broadcast across the wireless carrier’s network. However, free TV service is offered in Japan and Korea on certain cell phones, and may soon be coming to western countries as well.

While the cost and type of access to television programming varies between countries, it is usually included in a service package with web access. If you plan to use your mobile phone to browse the Internet and check email, why not have access to television programming at no extra cost? TV phones can be purchased from a China wholesale manufacturer online for around $100. Watch news from around the world, see sports highlights, or tune in to your favorite sitcoms any time with a TV mobile phone.

-3 Sim Cards - Double murder over cell phone SIM card - (5/14/2012)

PORTLAND – A Portland man is charged with two counts of murder in connection with an outbreak of violence among roommates at a home in Southeast Portland Saturday night.

The suspect’s best friend, 19-year-old Giovanni Jorgensen, also lives in the home.

"I’m pretty much the only other one who was there," said Jorgensen.  He said the violence erupted after he and his roommates started arguing over a stolen cell phone SIM card. "it should have been a fist fight, but some people come more prepared."

He claims 20-year-old William Cole McCamman jumped into the fight to protect him and ended up pulling out a pistol and killing 32-year-old Josh Smith on the lawn outside on the home.

Background: Two killed in Southeast Portland

He said the victim’s mother, 54-year-old Tamara Smith, also lived in the home and it wasn’t long before she became the second shooting victim.

"she wouldn’t let him out," Jorgensen said. "she was kind of attacking him saying, ‘You killed my son.’ it was kind of sad."

He said McCamman then put away the pistol and picked up a sawed-off shotgun that was in the house, located near the intersection of SE 136th Avenue and SE Harold Street.

"she was calling the cops and would not let him leave and blocked the doorway," Jorgensen said. "He told her, ‘Please get out of the doorway,’ and then ‘boom,’ he got her out of the doorway."

Portland homicide detectives were on the scene Saturday night and Sunday morning, so Jorgensen spent the night with a friend. He returned home Sunday afternoon to the shocking realization of what had happened.

"two people died over a SIM card," he said. "I just can’t justify it."

Jorgensen said all three of his roommates were gone. two were killed and a third – his best friend since second grade – was facing two counts of first-degree murder.

An eviction notice had been served at the property on Friday.

McCamman appeared in court Monday, charged with two counts of aggravated murder.

The incident was one of three reported shootings in Portland over the weekend. A man was shot during a robbery in his home Saturday evening and a drive-by shooting near a Portland bar left two people injured early Sunday morning.

these services work to enable mobile network services like voice & data connectivity. By eliminating the direct relationship with end-user customers, Hop-on is now providing the pivotal infrastructure and services that enable MVNOs to offer services and have a relationship with their own end-user brands. this ultimately creates customer loyalty and leaves the marketing and back-end functions to the Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE).

Peter Michaels CEO of Hop-on stated, “Our Master Distributor has over 60,000 locations around Mexico and has projections of over $50 Million in revenue. they will be targeting the local Mexican market that wants and needs a new solution. this deal gives a stronger position in the Mexican market.”

By providing international travelers with Hop-on phones, customers can utilize such technology for making calls to loved ones back home and as a business solution. whatever the customers needs are in terms of the usage of our product, the ability to make the call and have cell reception and service is key.

“Today, the ability to make any traveler/customer feel safe to reach home and business associates when needed eliminates the majority of travelers concerns right off the bat. Hop-on’s services also include our 911-E.com technology. this crucial service can assist travelers in contacting police and emergency responders when faced with accidents or criminal activity while traveling throughout Mexico and other international locations. this technology is just as it sounds. When needing to call 911 for emergency services, we have the E-technology platform that not only allows the traveler to reach emergency services, but their location will be tracked immediately. Imagine how our current home telephone services operate…if you call 911 and don’t even say a word, emergency response systems are dispatched immediately and the location is identified. That is what we’ve created and are providing for tourists and travelers from the safety and comfort of their Hop-on mobile,” Michaels said.

Current Hop-on customers traveling in Mexico should become familiar with the 911-E service provided and be sure 911-E service is provided in the area they are traveling in. Hop-on provides its 911-E service free of airtime charges. even if users have used up all of their airtime, they are still protected with the ability to contact emergency responders.

-3 Sim Cards - Mad rush for Glo mobile Ghana SIM card in Koforidua - (5/8/2012)

Residents in and around Koforidua on Wednesday besieged the offices of Glocom, a new communication network, to activate their reserved numbers or buy new Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards whiles others were there to make the necessary enquires.

At the Glocom offices opposite Juaben Serwah Market in Koforidua, prospective subscribers were seen in long queues waiting to enter the main office to be served.

The telecommunication network was launched in Accra last weekend to start commercial operations across the country.

The Eastern Regional Manager of Glocom World, Mr Godwin Asiateba, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Wednesday that he was overwhelmed by the response of the enthusiastic subscribers since the network became operational on Monday.

He said the network has so far sold thousands of SIM cards to new subscribers across the region and that more people were expected to buy the product.

Mr Asiateba appealed to Ghanaians to subscribe to the new network and asked those who reserved their numbers to come to their offices to reactivate them.

Subscribers, who spoke to GNA, said the new network would bring competition to the telecommunication industry.

One of the subscribers, Mr Owusu Asante, who said he traveled all the way from New Tafo in the region to activate his reserved number, appealed to Glocom to be loyal to their customers.

Ms Eugenia Kubadje, another customer, also appealed to Glocom to review the seven day deadline for redeeming the numbers as queues were long.

Glocom Mobile Ghana is a subsidiary of Globacom Limited, which was launched two years ago but started commercial operations over the weekend after putting prospective subscribers in waiting. GNA

-3 Sim Cards - Prepaid Phone Card Selling As A Home Business - (5/7/2012)

Many people dream of owning their own businesses, and selling prepaid phone cards at home would make a nice start to a good business proposition. Starting this business should be quite easy and could convert your dreams into reality. however, there is a very wide gap between dreams and reality. Your dreams, whatever the may be, can only be achieved with careful planning.

As a home-based entrepreneur, you will need to have a plan to avoid pitfalls, to achieve your goals, and to build a profitable home business, such as selling prepaid phone cards. But first let’s create a general overview of what one needs to have in mind when starting a prepaid phone card home business, and among the key points to bear in mind are the following:

A.) find out if wholesale agents purchase voice traffic from telecom providers at wholesale, or discounted rates.

B.) Determine the amount of investment required to set up a prepaid card home selling business, and find out if there are any sign up or monthly fees, or if you sell the services under their own brand.

C.) Inquire from your service provider if they provide customizable business management, or web-based platforms to the wholesale agents, where you can:

> Set your own rates for their customers.

> create different rate plans with different billing increments (rounding to seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute etc.), impose connection and disconnection charges, monthly fees and other parameters. Check if billing can be done in a local currency.

> Credit and charge amounts to/from accounts

> Configure postpaid or prepaid billing types for the customers

> Record own voice greetings and messages

> See the billing and errors for each account

> Configure speed dial numbers or services for the customers

> Generate pin codes for calling cards

D.) Ask if it is possible to provide a Customer Account Management (CAM) interface, or billing platform at the agent’s web-site. If they would provide you with this kind of interface, your customers would be able to:

> See their balance or current monthly usage

> See their pin codes.

> Change the callback numbers.

> View and print billing reports and invoices

> Update their personal information (i.e. address, phone, e-mail etc.)

E.) Also check if they provide voice prompts that are available in a number of international languages, for foreign callers or buyers.

F.) find out if they impose minimum monthly sales requirements on your prepaid home selling business account.

G.) Do try out their customer service departments, and evaluate the quality and promptness of that service.

Having a good customer service platform helps in ensuring your prepaid card home selling business could cope with customer concerns like defective cards, improper billing, theft or loss of card, client feedback and suggestions.

H.) Analyze and compare phone card features with other brands.

Make a comparison of your prospective telecom service provider with other networks and resellers. Do find out if they have features such as PINless dialing, the ability to store multiple telephone numbers in one PIN, Custom voice prompts, Could the PIN save your own greeting messages, does it record promotional messages and take advantage of the promotional card business, does it have multiple recharge options, does it have convenient methods of recharging accounts, could it provide instant credit card charge, international callback modes, international toll free access, and affordable toll free access from US, Canada, Latin America and Europe.

-3 Sim Cards - About Exhaust Notes - (5/5/2012)

Note: Consumer Reports has no relationship with any advertisers on MSN.

In the wake of the sudden unintended acceleration (SUA) crisis that rocked Toyota’s safety reputation in 2009 and 2010, automakers have sped up implementation of smart-throttle technology, also known as brake override. With this safety feature, should a stuck throttle problem occur, the driver can intuitively apply the brake pedal and the engine management system will reduce the power, allowing the vehicle to quickly stop. the full Hyundai line starting with May production will come standard with brake override.

-3 Sim Cards - World SIM Cards Can Improve Your Business - (5/3/2012)

Imagine for a moment if you will the following scenario – you are accessing your email from a public internet caf overseas and you see an email from a potential client who desperately needs to speak to you on the phone. the deal is worth $200 but you know that you are going to spend 30 minutes on the phone. Do you pay $8 a minute for international calls from your hotel room, do you try to make an international call from a public telephone when you don’t properly understand the currency or do you use your home mobile phone and spend upwards of $10 per minute on calls with exorbitant roaming charges?

Chances are that you won’t do any of these things and you will lose a client. It would cost you more to make the call to close the sale than you are going to make out of this transaction. but, what about any future transactions that you may miss out on.

The thing is that it does not have to be this way. if you are a regular international traveller for business or pleasure you could (hey, you should) buy a world SIM card. In the example given above if you had a one of these cards you may find that international call rates are only $1-$2 per minute. Whilst you still may end up spending $60 or more on your call it is still worth it as the sale is worth more than this to you. With a world SIM card you get a happy client and you get to keep in touch.

Another great benefit of a these cards, and why every international business traveller should have one of these, is that in most countries you will not pay to receive incoming calls. It is this paying to receive calls that is the killer for most people who use their home mobile phone overseas. these roaming charges can be huge and you are not even making calls.

Some world SIM cards that are out there on the market also have other benefits that are worth looking at. One that I am especially fond of is the translation service. This can be especially useful if you are in a country where you don’t understand the language- I especially like it when catching a taxi.

Do yourself a favour and order yourself a world SIM card today. That way it will arrive before you leave for your next trip. I promise you that you won’t regret it.

Prepaid Phone Cards – To Stay Connected

With the advent of prepaid phone cards communicating our feelings have become so easy. but one should be careful enough to find the best card which suits one’s needs and pocket. every body looks for a card best in quality combined with low rate for making local and international calls.

If we trace the origin of prepaid cards we have to go back to Italy, where there was an acute shortage of medal coins to operate pay phones. in 1975 a vending machine manufacturer had the idea of using something other than coins to operate pay phones. As a result in 1976 came the release of first phone card. Pay phone users would insert cards printed on thin card board with a magnetic strip.

Many companies through out Europe and Japan worked incessantly to improve the quality of phone cards since its invention. the first chip based ‘smart cards’ were introduced in France. By 1992 most of the major telecommunication companies had released their own brand of phone cards. with new marketing technology and diverse cards phone card industry prospered in leaps and bounds. By 2000 calling cards were available on the internet, post office, super market and gas stations.

The winds of innovation again blew in the industry with the release of the first prepaid cell phone in 2001. These phones function like calling cards. One can take ones cell phone overseas with out incurring high roaming charges. One SIM Card is a prepaid international cell phone provider. This card can be recharged with an optimum calling plan. it provides the least expensive and easiest alternative to use international cell phone service available.

Pre paid service plans enable cell phone users to control their budget. Prepaid airtime recharge cards can be obtained by going online, college book stores or mass retailers. the advantage of pre paid card is that it gives the customer more flexibility.

Advanced international calling cards are also available these days as a solution for domestic and long distance communications. the same calling cad can be used for all international calling destinations. Wide variety of choices available makes the phone card selection complicated for the user. Calling card companies anticipate this problem and address them right on the main page of their web site. the best rate finder is the feature which is most suitable for providing detailed information on the best phone card to use internationally and domestically. Users should do their best to maximize savings and minimize connection problems. Pre paid phone cards by meeting the rigorous long distance requirements may allow the user to scale back their dependency on the land line phone altogether.

Prepaid phone cards are a boon for staying connected with family and friends during ones holidays. A great supply of quality prepaid phone cards and long distance services are available these days. the most important thing is to find the right calling card and enjoy holidays. Wise choice should be done since all phone cards are not the same.
